Hogg & Nevills Electric offers sales and installations of backup generators to ensure your home or business won’t be left in the dark. 


Prime power generators supplied and connected for grain elevators, portable concrete batching plants, aggregate conveyor and process systems.


Hogg has been installing generators since the Great Ontario Ice Storm of 1959 ... Hogg & Nevills is proud to be an authorized dealer for Sommers Motor Generator Ltd for 25 years. This Canadian company manufactures gensets (2-1000kw) for all applications. They are also a distributor for Briggs-Stratton & Kohlar and Cutler Hammer Transfer Switches.

Professional Affiliations

Electrical Safety Authority has designated Hogg & Nevills Electric as "RBO" for all items under this ESA program which recognizes Electrical Contractors who do code consistent/quality electrical work. As part of this program we are able to facilitate emergency after-hour and weekend repairs and restore power with coordination with the local utility.


We're also members of the Electrical Contractor Registration Agency, Ontario Electrical League & Caledon Chamber of Commerce.
